Terms and Conditions
The Manufacturer agrees to comply with the following terms and conditions governing the production of Halal-certified products under AIHCO:
- Notification of Changes
Any changes to the company name, address, brand name, product formulation, ingredients, raw material suppliers, manufacturing process, or any matter affecting halal compliance must be declared to AIHCO in writing prior to implementation. - Compliance with Halal Standards
All halal products must be manufactured strictly in accordance with AIHCO Halal Guidelines and Islamic (Shariah) requirements. - Organisational or Policy Changes
AIHCO must be notified of any structural, operational, or policy changes that may impact halal production or integrity. - Access to Documentation
The Manufacturer must provide AIHCO full access to relevant documents, including raw material specifications, halal certificates, and supporting documentation related to halal compliance. - Fees and Charges
All applicable fees relating to inspection, supervision, certification, and renewal must be paid within the agreed timeframes. - Approved Suppliers
Raw materials and ingredients must be sourced only from suppliers approved by AIHCO or recognised international halal certification bodies. All halal materials must be clearly identified and segregated from non-approved materials in storage. - Segregation of Halal and Non-Halal Materials
Halal and non-halal materials and products must be fully segregated at all stages of storage, preparation, processing, packaging, and transportation. - Cleaning and Sanitation
All equipment, utensils, containers, surfaces, and processing areas must be thoroughly cleaned and free from najis (impurities) prior to halal production. Cleaning procedures must comply with Islamic requirements and food safety standards. - Prohibited Substances
Alcohol (khamr), intoxicants, pork and its derivatives, non-halal animal products, and any materials not approved by AIHCO must not be used in halal-certified products. - Halal Integrity
Any halal product that comes into direct contact with non-halal material shall be considered non-halal. - Use of AIHCO Halal Logo
Finished halal products may display the AIHCO Halal Logo only after written approval and must remain compliant at all times. - Transportation Requirements
Transportation used for halal-certified products must ensure no contamination with non-halal products and must maintain proper segregation and cleanliness. - Non-Compliance
Any breach of these terms and conditions may result in suspension, withdrawal of certification, or other corrective actions as determined by AIHCO.
