The minimum audit frequency under AIHCO certification is as follows:

  • Abattoirs / Slaughterhouses: Quarterly audits
  • Meat Processing Establishments: Bi-annual (every six months) audits
  • Food Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, and Cosmetic Facilities: Annual audits

Each inspection will be conducted by at least two authorised AIHCO officers, which may include:

  • Shariah Compliance Officer
  • Technical Officer / Food Technologist
